Who Am I?

Hey my name is Sam. I’m a twenty-something traveller from Sydney, Australia, and I’ve been traveling the world since a very young age. Like many Australians, I preferred to spend my holidays overseas, and took my first big trip in 2010 to Europe. This big life-changing trip really took me outside of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to the world of adventure and exploring the unknown. Even through the adversity, I maintained my love for adventure, new cultures and the unfamiliar. Ever since then, I’ve been lucky enough to travel all throughout Asia, Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand, and I’ve had some crazy experiences and stories to share with you because of it.

From as early as I can recall I have always had this incredible desire to just get out there and travel the world. I’ve always worked very hard to be able to maintain this life of travel – taking jobs that many people won’t so I can live like most people can’t. I have somehow managed to attain a Bachelor Degree in Education (PDHPE) and my Certificate III in Carpentry throughout this crazy journey.

Across the years of travel I have always managed to stay disciplined on a budget while still enjoying each and every country I visit. I began this blog to teach others that you don’t have to be rich or need a trust fund to travel the world. All you need is the passion and desire to see the world and have the dedication and “can-do” attitude to attain it.

I’m no royalty, but I’ve been able to travel the world without completely slumming it, managed to court an American girl long enough to get her to move to Australia, negotiated my way to a 1 year stay in Asia, argued that Australia would be nice to settle down for a little. Now the urge to travel  has thrown out the idea that adventure should be on the cards once again. This blog will share my stories, experiences, mistakes, tips and reviews to help you travel the world like me Sir Wanderlust!

I think it’s amazing that you do what you do. I’ve always wanted to travel like that. I really want to go to Positano Italy. How do you secure the jobs there?
